The OMRON ZX-LD100 is a high-performance laser displacement sensor designed for precise non-contact measurement in industrial automation applications. Utilizing a visible red laser beam, this sensor provides accurate distance and position measurements for a wide variety of targets, including objects with complex surfaces and challenging materials. The ZX-LD100 is engineered to deliver reliable performance in quality control, inspection, and assembly verification processes across manufacturing environments.

This sensor features advanced measurement capabilities with a compact, rugged housing that withstands industrial harsh conditions. The visible laser spot enables easy setup and alignment, significantly reducing installation time and improving operational efficiency. With its high sampling speed and resolution, the ZX-LD100 can detect minute variations in target position, making it ideal for applications requiring precise dimensional checks, height discrimination, and vibration analysis. The sensor supports both analog and digital outputs for flexible integration with PLCs and control systems, while the built-in tolerance judgment function allows for standalone operation without additional controllers.

Technical Specifications:

The OMRON ZX-LD100 laser displacement sensor operates on a 12-24V DC power supply with a maximum consumption of 400mA. It provides a measuring range of 200±100mm with a reference distance of 200mm. The sensor achieves a linearity of ±0.1% of the measuring range (F.S.) and offers a resolution of 10μm, ensuring highly accurate detection capabilities. The response frequency reaches 1kHz, enabling rapid measurement of fast-moving targets.

The unit features both analog (0-5V/1-5V/0-10V) and digital (NPN/PNP open collector) output configurations, along with a tolerance judgment output for direct control applications. The visible red laser diode operates at a wavelength of 655nm (Class 2 laser product) with a spot diameter of approximately 0.7×1.2mm. The sensor housing provides IP67 protection against dust and water immersion, and operates within a temperature range of -10 to 55°C. Connection is established through a 5-pin M12 connector, and the compact design allows for easy integration into space-constrained applications.
